Born in Michigan in 1985, Kate O'Leary has been exploring her passion for the visual arts for many years. She completed her studies at Michigan State University and moved to Chicago, where she currently resides, to pursue a career in advertising.

Kate's energetic, creative attitude and passion are evident in her colorful paintings.  Her artistic focus is reverse painting on glass, a long known and practiced technique in the Orient, which was most popular in America during the early 1800s.  This unusual art form requires the artist to paint the design on the backside of the glass while it will be viewed from the other.  Because of this, scenes must be painted in mirror image so when the glass is turned over,  the objects will appear normal.  Kate primarily uses vintage windows as her canvas and frame.

She has participated in numerous art festivals and commissioned many pieces.
